Osaka Representative Toyotama vs. Shohoku
Heading into their first-ever national tournament match
This gymnasium served as the model for the venue where Shohoku High School clashed with Osaka representative Toyotama High School in the opening match of the Hiroshima Inter-High tournament. It is a pivotal location where Shohoku was baptized by the realities of "national-level" competition—an experience they overcame to evolve even further. As the starting point of the legend, it is an unmissable stop on any Hiroshima pilgrimage tour.
