This is the official website of the “Hiroshima Prefecture Association for the Preservation of SLAM DUNK Holy Sites,” an organization dedicated to preserving the holy sites in Hiroshima Prefecture—which serve as the backdrop for numerous iconic scenes from Takehiko Inoue’s masterpiece basketball manga SLAM DUNK and hold special significance for many fans—and passing their legacy on to future generations.

Welcome to the Holy Land of Slam Dunk
SLAM DUNK SPOT
The Inter-High School Championship Arc, Set in Hiroshima
Representing Kanagawa Prefecture, Shohoku High School finally achieved its long-cherished dream of qualifying for the National High School Championships (Inter-High) and headed to Hiroshima Prefecture, the host location.
A match against Toyotama, the Osaka representative! A match against Sannou, the reigning champion! This is where the most intense episodes unfold as they clash with the nation’s top teams.
Ishida Memorial Gymnasium (Hiroshima University of Economics)
The undisputed champion of high school basketball and the strongest opponent, having won the national championship for three consecutive years.
The gymnasium that served as the venue for the legendary “Shohoku vs. Sannou” match against Sannou Industrial High School.
In the manga, it appears as the “Uda Memorial Gymnasium.”
Ohtake City General Gymnasium
The first round of the Inter-High Tournament—Shōhoku vs. Toyotama—marked Shōhoku High School’s first-ever appearance in the national tournament.
The gymnasium served as the venue for the match against Toyotama High School, the Osaka representative and a regular contender in the Inter-High Tournament.
Midori-so Inn
This is the inn where Hanamichi Sakuragi and the other members of the Shohoku High School basketball team stayed when they competed in the National High School Championships in Hiroshima.
In the manga, it appears as “Chidori-so.” The inn has since closed and is in need of preservation.
