SLAM DUNK is a timeless masterpiece. For us fans, the locations in Hiroshima depicted in the story are not merely "filming locations"; they are cherished "sacred sites" where we can still feel the living spirit of the Shohoku High School team—the very place where they poured out their sweat and engaged in fierce battles.

Following the recent movie adaptation, many fans from not only Japan but across the globe have begun visiting Hiroshima. It brings me immense joy to see our community of shared passion growing.

At the same time, however, the influx of visitors has brought new challenges, including environmental changes, issues regarding visitor etiquette, and the difficulty of preserving the landscape over time.

We want to ensure that "that scenery"—which we love so dearly—remains intact, allowing fans ten or twenty years from now to experience the same moving emotions. We also want this place to remain a source of pride for the local community. It was out of this strong desire that our association was founded.

Protecting this sacred site is a way of giving tangible form to our love for the work. We aim to serve as a bridge between fans and the local community, fostering a culture of "pilgrimage" to these sites that is both considerate and sustainable, starting right here in Hiroshima.
